Telephone: Call anytime at Three One Seven - Seven Three One - Twenty-Six Twenty-Nine. We could be designing instruction in a forest, a mountain, on the road, or in a swimming pool, but we'll be glad to talk to you, early or late.

After you subscribe, you need to print only the pages of the Syllabus and Assessment Chart that relate to your kids' ages or readiness.

We have supplied the website addresses of some participants in our video field trips in appreciation for their willingness to share in the lessons. You may prefer to view the websites before your children do.

A note from the teacher:

During the past 10 years, friends and strangers in this country have had the irresistible urge to tell me what they think of illegal immigrants and that they think people who come to this country should learn English. They think that's what you should say to someone who teaches another language. Even supporters of church-sponsored missions often automatically think of foreign language in terms of illegal immigration. All the people I'm thinking of speak only English.

Our instruction is for people who want to communicate and move about smartly in and out of this country. Real language is not primarily an academic subject area, and real culture is not a few holidays that overshadow the hundreds of other things that go on during 365 days of a year. I'm talking about having a good time with learning about other people and their ways of life. You and the kids in your life can look forward to beautiful adventures when you don't confuse any language with things that need not be confused with it.

P.S. If you are in a group that wants to host a teacher visit, and if the location is within a few hours' driving distance or in a town I may be going through to collect material for lessons, I will be happy to come and do a 90-minute interactive session that includes bilingual storytelling, singing, culture, pronunciation, vocabulary-specific activities, and a time for you to ask questions about philosphy, method, content or whatever. There is no charge for this, whether for homeschool groups or public or private schools. It's great to be with people.
